My talent was recognized at an early age. After my first week of kindergarten my grandmother was told by my teacher, “You have an artist in the family.” Grandma asked, “Why do you say that?” The teacher replied, “Every morning after you drop him off he runs straight for the crayons.” Years later I took my talents to the High School of Art & Design in New York City, to Fashion Institute of Technology where I graduated with honors and received an award for being the top fashion illustrator in my graduating class, on to Howard University and finally the Portfolio Center in Atlanta. I have over 20 years of experience of taking concepts from early brainstorming sessions to successful creative executions for regional and national clients in a wide range of media including; print, direct mail, corporate identity, promotions, digital campaigns and broadcast. From crayons to the Mac, design education to executions that grow brands, I follow one mantra – “As well as I can.”
